FAQ
Yes. Listening, generating and downloading are free and need no account. Personal and learning use is fully covered; if you use generated audio commercially, make sure your use complies with applicable laws and the rights of any text you convert.
No fixed limit. A single generation accepts long text, but for book-length material we recommend generating chapter by chapter and stitching the files — each render is faster, and re-doing one chapter is cheaper than re-doing a book.
Plain text in any of the supported languages, including mixed Chinese and English, numbers and common punctuation. Special symbols are cleaned up automatically, punctuation is interpreted for natural pausing, and [break:…] markers insert exact silences.
Insert a break marker anywhere in the text: [break:200ms] for a short beat, [break:2s] for two seconds. Pressing Ctrl+B inserts [break:500ms] at the cursor. Markers are silent in the output — you hear only the pause.
Audio in MP3 or WAV (chosen before generating), plus subtitles in SRT and VTT built from the engine's word-level timings — ideal for captioning videos with the same narration.
No. Results exist only for your current browser session and are removed afterwards. Anything you want to keep, download before you close the tab.
